Hand-poured luxury candles, made with intent

Every scented candle in this collection is developed by our in-house team using high-quality, consciously sourced fragrance oils. We test each blend at hot and cold throw, across room sizes, so you can trust the fragrance to fill the space without tipping over into heavy. Burn times vary by vessel size, with most of our candles offering between 30 and 45 hours of burn time.

Four scent collections, one shared standard

The Clay Collection houses scent in textured, earthenware-style vessels — warm, tactile and grounding. The Core Collection is our signature range, built around crowd-pleasing scents that work year-round. The Neutral Core Collection is for minimalist interiors, with smooth opaque glass vessels that blend into any palette. And the Everyday Collection brings affordable luxury candles to the everyday, without compromising on quality.

Natural, non-toxic and clean-burning options

If you’re searching for eco-friendly candles in the UK, our Conscious Candles are made from 100% natural coconut wax, which burns cleanly and evenly without releasing the soot associated with paraffin. The reusable paint-tin vessel is built to have a second life — as a planter, a desk tidy, or a keepsake tin. All of our candles are vegan-friendly and poured in the UK.

Candle care, briefly

Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn, never leave a candle unattended, and allow the wax to pool fully to the edge on the first burn — this prevents tunnelling and extends overall burn time. Full guidance lives on our candle safety page.

Frequently asked questions

How long do your scented candles burn for?

Burn time depends on the vessel size. Most Chickidee candles burn for 30–45 hours. Larger Core Collection candles burn for up to 50 hours when cared for correctly.

Are Chickidee candles non-toxic?

Yes. Our Conscious Candles are made from 100% natural coconut wax and are non-toxic, vegan and clean-burning. Across all ranges we use consciously sourced fragrance oils free from common allergens where possible — check the individual product page for the full ingredient list.

What's the best way to burn a scented candle?

On the first burn, let the wax melt fully to the edges of the vessel — this takes 2–3 hours and prevents tunnelling. Trim the wick to 5mm before every burn, never burn for more than 4 hours at a time, and keep away from draughts.

Can I reuse the candle vessel?
