The scent

Lavender & Sage opens with fresh lavender flower, balanced by a generous heart of clary sage and rosemary. Where Wild Lavender stays clean and herb-garden in character, Lavender & Sage leans into the savoury side — sage adds warmth, depth and a slightly resinous edge that lingers longer in a room. The base is gently woody, with cedar and a hint of musk to ground the blend. The result is a calming but more grown-up lavender: less floral, more herbal, and at home in a room you’ve lived in.

Why pair lavender with sage

Lavender on its own can read as light, soapy or sweet, depending on the formulation. Sage rounds it out: the herbal warmth balances lavender’s freshness, and the slight smokiness of clary sage in particular gives the blend a longer, more interesting development on the air. It’s a pairing you’ll find in classic English herb gardens, in Mediterranean cooking, and in some of the most enduring fragrances in perfumery — for a reason. They make each other better.

The Conscious version

Our Lavender & Sage Conscious Candle is made from 100% natural coconut wax — a plant-based wax that burns more slowly than paraffin and produces minimal soot. It’s housed in a reusable paint-tin vessel: once the wax is finished, the tin can be cleaned out with warm soapy water and given a second life as a planter, desk pot or storage tin. The Conscious Candle is vegan, and the outer packaging is plastic-free.

How to get the most out of your Lavender & Sage candle and diffuser

Trim the wick of your scented candle to 5mm before each burn, and let the wax pool fully to the edge of the vessel on the first burn to prevent tunnelling. For your reed diffuser, flip the reeds every one to two weeks to refresh the scent throw, and place it where air moves naturally rather than under a heat source. Most Lavender & Sage reed diffusers last 4–6 months, depending on room size and how often you flip the reeds.
