The scent

Top notes of fresh lavender flower lead the fragrance, balanced by a soft heart of clary sage and rosemary. The base is gentle and a little woody, with cedar and a hint of musk to keep the scent grounded. The result is recognisably lavender, but cleaner and less sweet than the heavy, soapy lavender scents you might be used to — closer to a herb garden in late summer than a drawer of pot-pourri. The Conscious version

Our Wild Lavender Conscious Candle is made from 100% natural coconut wax — a plant-based wax that burns more slowly than paraffin and produces minimal soot. It’s housed in a reusable paint-tin vessel: once the wax is finished, the tin can be cleaned out with warm soapy water and given a second life as a planter, desk pot or storage tin. The Conscious Candle is vegan, and the outer packaging is plastic-free.

How to get the most out of your Wild Lavender candle and diffuser

Trim the wick of your scented candle to 5mm before each burn, and let the wax pool fully to the edge of the vessel on the first burn to prevent tunnelling. For your reed diffuser, flip the reeds every one to two weeks to refresh the scent throw, and place it where air moves naturally rather than under a heat source. Most Wild Lavender reed diffusers last 4–6 months, depending on room size and how often you flip the reeds.

Most Wild Lavender reed diffusers last 4–6 months, depending on room size, temperature and how often you flip the reeds. For the longest life, flip the reeds every one to two weeks and keep the diffuser away from radiators and direct sunlight.

How long does the Wild Lavender candle burn for?+

Burn time depends on the size you choose. Exact burn times are listed on each product page. To get the most out of your candle, trim the wick to 5mm before each burn and don’t burn for longer than four hours at a time.
